About Us
Un Dia Boutique Resort is the brainchild and dream of two best friends who fell in love with the Playas landscape and decided to make their dream a reality! Un Dia is a rustic resort that embodies everything we love about Ecuador and focuses on the little details to make our guest's vacation fun and memorable. The idea behind Un Dia was to create a space that encourages our guests to get out and make the most of every day. Our resort was designed with that in mind, keeping the rooms cozy but simple while reflecting the landscape of our surroundings. You will of course find some creature comforts here (WiFi is available around the resort grounds and in each room) but we want all of our guests to get out and explore, unwind and truly escape in this little piece of paradise.
Directions to Un Dia Boutique Resort using Google Maps:
For the most accurate directions, use the Satellite option in Google Maps - you will notice 2 roads going out to the private beach where we are located. The longer, Southern most road (Cape Corol) will take you to the beach entrance. As this is a private beach, it is a gated property; you will see a sign for Un Dia at the gate entrance. If the gate is closed, you will need to honk to have the gate attendant let you in. Once past the date, drive approximately 100 ft and make your first right, going north. This will lead you directly into our parking lot.
If you are planning on taking a taxi from José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport in Guayauqil, inform the driver you will be going to Playas, Ecuador as only specific taxis will make this trip. The drivers will let you know which taxi to use. You can bargain with them on the price but expect to pay approximately $80-$100.
A private cab from the airport may also be coordinated prior to arrival by emailing Un Dia - this must be arranged at least one day prior to arrival and will cost $50 one way. The driver will be outside the baggage claim area at the airport exit and will be holding a sign with the guest's name.
